A legislation is pending before the US Congress called the Patent Act of 2005. Join Entretec?s Public Policy Committee and Christie, Parker & Hale LLP, for the first time in a series of workshops dedicated to intellectual property and licensing, where we will present and discuss this legislation and its significance to patent filing, prosecution, and enforcement. The proposed legislation could have a significant impact on both large and small companies in how they establish, manage and defend their patent portfolios. Please join us for a lively discussion in the first of a series of exciting workshops dealing with intellectual property and its licensing.

Entretec?s Public Policy Committee was established two years ago as the collective voice of technology-based, development stage entrepreneurial companies located along the 134/210 corridor. The committee of entrepreneurs municipal officials, investors and academics provides a dynamic forum for information dissemination and discussion of public policies at the Federal, State, County, Regional, and City levels. The committee formulates strategies to foster the growth and retention of our membership companies in the LA region.
